The state appears to be infiltrated by terrorist networks along its western border and an influx of armed banditry along rural corridors.  There is a surge in armed banditry and targeted abductions. The state of insecurity, previously concentrated around Borgu region or primarily in the North West, has now appeared to be drifting into Kwara Central and South.
