Roads surrounded by criminals who take advantage of dense vegetation to kidnap road passengers. The Ahor and Uselu-Nahor axis of the Uhunmwonde local government area of the state is notorious for kidnapping. Rural areas are susceptible to armed gang attacks.
There are also a lot of poor roads that could make travel difficult. A handful of roads in Uromi axis are deplorable for motorists. Others include Benin–Auchi–Lokoja Expressway, Uselu-Lagos Road, Benin-Sapele Road, etc.
